Kenyir Lake Kenyir is one of the main places for birdwatching activities in Malaysia. Based on studies made, there are 296 different species of birds including resident and migratory birds in Kenyir. Examples of the larger birds include nine hornbill species and 20 species of birds of prey or raptors. Birds of various colours and sizes play an important role in the ecosystem. Most of the birds are easily seen and found not far from Gawi Jetty in Tasik Kenyir . In addition Kenyir is also surrounded by unspoiled natural flora and fauna, which makes Kenyir a suitable location for research and adventure.
